Quality of life is enhanced by a wide variety of Activities and programs offered at the Clarion. The Activities Director and staff work diligently to provide an enjoyable and stimulating atmosphere for Residents. All of the Residents are encouraged to participate in the available programs and special events that enrich their lives.
Clarion is proud that through fund raising activities by staff, residents and family members, they were fortunate to be able to purchase wheelchair transportation which allows greater freedom to enjoy offsite activities without having to rely on outside transportation services.
Summer is the time for Strawberry Socials and BBQ's on the patio. In winter Clarion enjoys a wide variety of visiting singers and performances, or Pub nights and festive occasions are frequent happenings. There is always something to look forward to!
Enjoy all the comforts of home including several large screen TVs for Residents' enjoyment. Movie nights and sporting events are regular activities along with an entertainment centre system for listening to old favorites and learning about new ones.
Regular social and family activities in the home are opportunities for Residents' to enjoy a wide variety of live performances.
The Activities department encourages residents to be active and offers interesting and enjoyable activities on a regular basis. Each month a new calendar is available for our Residents and their family's' to review and plan for. Special events and holidays are celebrated with meals, decorations and parties. Families are always welcome and encouraged to participate.
A hairdressing salon and barber shop are located on site. Frequently there are bake and craft sales, fashion suppliers and jewelry shows are arranged at the Clarion.
The Clarion is very active in health and community fundraising and is proud to be a part of the Stoney Creek community.
